    Limits on reptile buys
I found at my local herp haunt this out standing little normal. Never seen this much white or as light a color on a normal. Needless to say that I was told NO! to my new snakes friend. Kinda hurt my feeling.

So all that said does your S.O have a limit to your snake buys.

The "Some" option got my vote because it was closest to what goes on in this house....

Everything is cool if the bills are paid, I let her know first, then she gets something of equal value :)

Equality is the key to a happy relationship :D LOL....and it works both ways too....if she buys something, I usually get something of my choice the next time :)

My wife will tell me no when I jokingly ask her if I can drop a fe grand on something I want...but that's just it I know I can't and I wouldn't. Aside from that I buy animals generally when I want them on the stipulations that I know I am producing enough food for the addition, I have the space, and most importantly have the money. I know when to stop so its not a problem

When i tell my gf that i am heading to a show thinking of picking something up her response is one of two things "NO!!" or "DON"T BRING ANYTHING HOME" she always says that i don't need any more.... BAH!! is what i say to that, you can never have too many:D :D !(just as long as they are all plump!)

Oh geez....I have TWO snakes....count 'em.... 1...2. And it took two YEARS to go from 1 to 2. I'm not sure there's an option on your poll that would fit the extremes of my circumstances.

Let me first say this...I LOVE my husband!! I'm crazy IN LOVE with him and would not dream of being married to anyone else in the whole world. And I'm willing to work with him and not "intrude" on the comfort of his own home by bringing in tons of animals that he's not comfortable with. But that being said...it does sometime hurt...sometimes a lot...when the reasons for "no" seem like nothing more than "just because."

But we're working on it. And he's promised me that when he retires from the AF and we get a permanent home...he'll build me a "snake house" on the property and I can have whatever I want in there. :D

My Wife really does not care what i buy or trade to add to our collection. She is somewhat involved in helping with the upkeep on our collection of snakes. She tells me as long as i am happy with our collection of snakes then thats all that matters to her :D .

I don't live with my partner so my situation is a little different than the married folk here. But it was my boyfriend who got me interested in snakes and he's very happy that I'm enjoying them. I'm taking things slow for now because I'm new to it, although I'm itching to get more. We were talking recently about what I would like to get next and he said "sounds like we are going to need to get you a rack system soon". I'm lucky to have a really supportive guy when it comes to this. Really - the main limit for me is space because I work out of my home and have to maintain much of my space as public space. Other than that, I'm restraining myself because I think it's the responsible thing to do.

My wife just wants to be in the loop. I tell her my long term breeding plans, let her know that she will hopefully get some jewerly or a vacation out of it and then its OK by her.

I have to give her legitimate reasons to drop thousands on morphs, but then she eventually sees my point!!
She refuses to come with me to shows, so I let her know what I will possibly bring home. I have close to 30 BP's now, so she's been reall cool about it!!
