    In Shed With RI![not eating?]
    My guy is in shed and being treated with antibiotics for RI and he's not eating, he has been a great eater till now, is this normal????

    Totally normal. Many ball pythons have no interest in eating while they are in shed. And from what I understand, most times when being actively treated for an RI, they should avoid eating....but whatever your vet says about that. Even if he says eating is OK...some snakes will not want to eat while undergoing a round of medicine.

    It's common for a course of anti-biotics to prematurely trigger a shed cycle ... consult your vet about attempting to feed while administering the medication.

    I was told to put electolies in his water so that's what I'm doing for now!Tryed him with a mouse tonught but didn't want anything to do with it!
