    He finally ate!!
Yes, he *finally* ate everyone! If you guys can remember my last couple posts, I was having trouble setting up my tank, didn't have my humidity set right, no secure hiding spots, etc etc.

Well, last night, I placed a live hopper in its home, left the room completely and came back about an hour or so later and I found *no* trace of the mouse....oh yea, except for a nice bulge in the snake! :) I know that hoppers might be a bit small as a meal but right now I'm just sooo happy that he ate. It's been 3 wks since I got him and he just eats now!

Wow, I'm ecstatic, thanks again to everyone that helped me out and gave me some good ideas for my set up!

**Oh and by the way, I found a really good way to keep humidity up for those that are having problems....I took a paper towel, folded it in half twice (length wise), so that it's a long, rectangle...soaked it in water, wrung it out and placed it under the heat lamp area...works so well, that my humidity has been at a perfect 64% and slowly going down by 1% and by slowly, I mean, 1% every hour. Hope that helps everyone out there, it sure did for me! Also, if you're concerned about bacteria or other stuff growing on the paper, easy solution = throw it out and put a new one in!**

Congrats! This just goes to show again, that a lot of problems with feeding refusals are directly related to husbandry issues. Now that it's happy and healthy in a proper home, it's eating for you...wonderful news! :)

I'm so glad to hear your snake ate for you. :carrot: I know how relieved you must feel, because I also had trouble with my new bp. It took me a whole month to finally get her to eat for me.
