    I got 2 small UTH on the hot side of my tank but its only 86-88 deg. anyway to make warmer besides adding heat lamp, got great humidity going on just can't seem to get the temp that hot.

    How warm is the room where the snake is located? Are you trying to heat a tank or a tub? A rack? A little more information, please.....

    long 20G tank, aspen bedding, room is about 75-80, i put the heat lamp back on and its getting better, is flex watt able to get 90 and i should just switch to that?

    Had a ball python for 3 years and she just died a month ago due to respitory problems caused by temp issues, so I'm just making sure everything is perfect this time

    flex watt is very cabable of getting to 90. how thick is your bedding? how and where are you measuring temps?

    Its getting cold by me recently and I've been having trouble with my glass tanks as well. I found that the aspen does a good job of keeping the heat NOT where you need it. My UTH's were getting really hot and my temps in my tanks where not so what I did was take out the Aspen and just use some paper towels, solved my heat issue.
