Temps and sex

Sorry if this had been asked before but I`m asking cos I couldn`t find any info on this.
Does the incubation temperature influence the sex of hatchlings like it does with crocodiles and some lizards?

Nope, sex is determined at fertilization. The only reptiles I'm aware of, that gender is determined post-fertilization are turtles and crocs. Wasn't aware of any lizards that had the same trait.

Thanks so much, yes I meant to say crocs and turtles but I thought that some lizards shared to same trait as well.

leopard geckos are determined by temps.
If the eggs are incubated at a temperature of 79F, virtually all of the offspring will be female. At a temperature of 85F, one can expect more or less equal ratios of males and females. At 90F, the great majority of the hatchlings will be males. At 92F, the hatchlings are virtually all males.
i usally set my incubator at 85F for an equal mix of both sexes when i breed my leos

Well,some lizards sexes can be determined by the incubation temprature, not before fertilization.

I didnt know that leopard gecko sexes were determined by incubation temps either until i started researching them before i started keeping and breeding them ,its very handy....i wish it worked with royals now that would be handy :D
