    He's Gone!!!!!!!
I had a 1.2 trio of ghost corns up until last night. Now the male is nowhere to be found.
I had the females in tubs but put the male in a critter cage since he was smaller and I didn't want to take the chance of him squeezing thru the airholes.

Well, the 2 girls are still in their tubs and the critter cage is empty.

He somehow managed to get out.
The only thing I can think of is that he crawled up the sides where the silicone is and pushed the lid back just enough to squeeze out.

I have searched EVERYWHERE and have no idea where he is. The escape happened sometime between 10pm last night (the last time I saw him in the cage) and about 7pm tonight (when I went to check on him).

I am so frustrated right now. This is the first escape I have ever had!

I really hope I find him but that is doubtful with the cat and dog and the fact that I had someone over today doing some repairs on the house so the doors were left open while they were going in and out while working.

I never should have used a critter cage. I should have just bought a new tub and made smaller holes like I originally thought but then changed my mind since the critter cage was sitting empty.

    Friday the 13th SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that! Don't beat yourself up. Snakes are very talented escape artists. But, don't assume the worst. Check everywhere you think that he can't fit! More than likely that's where he'll be. Generally they don't travel very far....Keep us updated and good luck.

$735 for repairs originally quoted at $425 and now this.

    Today just bites.

The problem is he could fit anywhere. He wasn't even 12 inches long yet. Still a tiny little baby.

:( Hang in there. That does make things more challenging, but there is alot of advice about that sort of stuff already on here. Hopefully it will help. Or at least give you some ideas of where to start looking.

I'm SO sorry to hear this! But don't give up hope. Keep a close eye on both the dog and the cat...especially the cat. There's a good chance they'll lead you to the little booger.

Hopefully she won't get too mad. You thought the critter carrier was a secure place to put him...who would've thought?
