me and my big sis watched the texas chainsaw massacre last night (the 2003 version) and she said the footage at the beginning and the end of Thomas "blubberface" Hewette killing the cop and the reporter because the crime seen wasnt properly secured isn't real. i think it is. is it? what do you guys think/know about it and the guy?

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (both versios) was loosly based on Ed Gein, a serial killer from the '50s i believe. How he is related to the movie is that he would carve people up and make suits out of them and wear them around his house. That whole crime scene and the rest of the movie is Hollywood's imagination and never really happened.

    Thank you Brian.

Since we're on the topic of thinking some horror movies are real I want to state that the Blaire Witch Project is also totally fiction.

One of my brothers actually played the professer in Blair Witch, so I can say with inside information that it is truly fiction.
