feeding size....

ok i'e been looking around under feeding threads but what size of mice should i get for my BP. this will be my first attempt ever. does it need to be a small as his neck or what?

Feed a rodent that is as big around as the fattest part of the snake.

Find one that's about as big around as the widest part of your snake's body, or a little smaller is ok, too. But do NOT use the thinnest part like the neck to decide what size prey to go by. Their mouths and neck are designed to stretch very much over what seems like really big prey.
