on the topic of goldfish..
here are some of mine :)
Mega Fewd; she is in a 55g tank in our room. We often hear a Sploosh! sound in the middle of the night; it is just her finding some food, lol. She's over a foot long.

Rooster, my ryukin :)

This was a rescue, dumped at my friend's shop when it outgrew its owners' tastes.. lucky me! They were also mad that "it turned black."
He's a big guy.

my albino; sold to me as a Siamese Doll, but it grew too big I think to be considered one.

Re: on the topic of goldfish..
Nice size Sarassa! Is he/she 12 inches TFL or tip of nose-tip of tail?
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
i'm guessing nose to tail (looking at the finger in the pic)
but that's just a guess :P
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
That's nose to tail; she came out of a pond that was being overrun by GF.. all the rest were mostly red/orange, then there was here; I got her for Mark as a birthday present.. it's been about a year now! (november 2005.)
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
Cool looking goldfish
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
Thanks! They aren't just for 8 year olds anymore. :D
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
They are beautiful! I love Rooster. X3
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
Thanks! I am not sure if it's male/female; can't see any white nodules in his gills that'd indicate being male. The only one I really have sexed 100% is the telescope in the 3rd pic; definately male!
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
I haven't seen any on any of my fish either, but they're not too old yet and I honestly have not bothered doing an research to find out when you can tell about that.
Re: on the topic of goldfish..
Adult males have white spots inside of the gill areas; they are hard to see but almost look like Ich spots or salt grains; I have only noticed them on mature males. Females are said to have longer, flowier tails/fins, but this seems harder to go by.
