K, i know everyone says to use thermostats for heating to control the temp, but how do you do it. . . anyone wanna teach me. . . i'm a little lost. :oops:

Get a t-stat from a herp supply dealer. These are made specifically for heating herp enclosures. The pre-wired ones will have a probe that you place on the heat source, and a plug or two that you plug the heat source(s) into. Set the 'stat and you're done. The best heat sources to use with t-stats are UTHs or flexwatt.

You plug the heat pad into the Tstat, then plug the tstat into the wall, set the temperature on the thermostat, and let the sensor probe on the thermostat tell you what temperature the heat pad is being regulated at. Your best bet is probably to buy one through the internet. Below is a good web site, but there are many others. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to hollar! :)
