Do u think he will be ok
I fed my BP yesterday and after he ate it didn't look like he closed his mouth right on one side so today i checked on him and it was still the same so i pried open his mouth to find a small piece stuck in the roof of his mouth.

I removed it and he closed his mouth right but it did look a little red from where i pulled it from  do you think he will be alright thanks

Not sure...noone can make the assuption he'll be OK over the internet. Your best option is to have him checked out by a professional if you're worried about it. Good luck !

Alot of breeders use forms of aspen....havent heard anything bad yet.

Also I used many diffrent brands of the shredded coconut husks (the brick you soak) first off it takes a long time to actually dry out...I had to make mine in large batches at then end (3 bricks at a time) and in a week it still wasnt 100% dry, this causes your humidity to sky rocket..be careful with it.

I love Eco earth. I would use it if it weren't for the humidity problems.

*agrees* I use every brand...dont really favor any one..although I do lean toward organic things. I had been buying the 3 pack of bricks for 10 bucks at petco..but again the humidity is the pits. You have to bake that crap for weeks to get it 100% dry...in my tanks by the time it was dry it was way passed do on cleaning.

If the skin was broken there could be risk of infection. But if you didn't see that...and dont' see any swelling...he'll probably be ok. Still, I'd keep an eye on it, and be ready to take him to the vet at the first sign of infection.

That I couldn't say for sure...I've never seen an infected snake mouth. But I would guess to look for things like continued or deepening redness...swelling...drainage...mouth staying open when its usually closed....anything out of the ordinary.
