    Freaky day!
Well today we met up with Cueball to pick up the adorable little male BP he is giving to my daughter! He was with Mike, too, and it was great to see them both again, AND TOO SHORT again, lol. Thanks Chris, you are one of the truly good guys in the world!
I will post pictures of him soon, he needs some settling in time now.

Now for the wierd part. A friend of ours called my husband and told him of a snake in trouble. The people who had this snake were afraid of it as it had bitten them a couple of times, so no one was cleaning out the tank it was in. They had bought the snake at a pet store and were given the advice that the snake wouldn't get as big as it should if they only fed it one mouse every two weeks. The truly shocking part? This two year old 4 foot snake is an albino burmese python!
This poor thing had shed stuck all over it, and is badly emaciated. We went ahead and took it, but only to re-home it! It ate a medium rat today, and we got the stuck shed off with just a damp pillow case. The snake is gorgeous, just half starved.
I have a couple of leads on people who might be interested in taking it, so I will probably be calling around tomorrow. Pics of the poor thing to come in a bit...

That's not as weird as it is absolutely awful. Give my loves to the poor skinny fellow.

Can't wait for the photos, though! Post some of your daughter's BP as well! :D

A 2 year old burm that's only 4 feet long and fed on a mouse every couple of weeks????? Poor snake! Glad you took it in, hope you can find a permanent, loving and knowledgeable home for it.

She will love him, and you already know I'm gaga over him. He has some great patterns going on, and you know the funkier it is, the happier I am! I definitely want to see if that head dot gets passed to his babies. Hmmmm, I should get more females :devilish:

Oh Trey is gorgeous and I'm sure your daughter will have a wonderful time raising him. What a sweetie our Cue is! Our little female from Cue is arriving this Tuesday and has been officially designated as Mikey's first BP (he's very ticked off "the man in the truck" never brings him a snake LOL).

Okay I know squat about burms but isn't that poor thing awfully undersized for a 2 year old? Hope you are able to find him/her a good home. I adore albino burms and really wish I could have one. I just don't know if Mike and I are ready for a giant and all that owning one entails or I'd be first in line to offer it a forever home.
