If you use the search function about and search for "spider spinning" a ton of information will show up.

After that, if you have any specific questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Where are you at in Louisiana, Kitty Cat?

I don't know of two many vets that speciallize in reptiles in Louisiana. I know of the best out there, somaybe I could point you towards a specialist if something really is wrong.

Spider ball pythons, not actual spiders.

I have heard that normals can "spin" too....and that a spinner can live a perfectly healthy life. So far as I know, it's not a degenerative problem or an illness....just a quirk in the nervous system that they can live with if its not too severe.

I really doubt that her ball python is 'spinning' for the same reason that a spider bp would.

If your snake has had 'seizures' and is ill, it could just be extreamly stressed and sick.

Get your snake's health back to normal and see if it continues.

its been bout 2 1/2 weeks since he was treated i believe

he stays in his hide all day explores at night and eats very well
the vet believes the reason he had a seizure is because he had very little oxygen getting to his brain
which might have been the reason for his shakes
    but he wasnt positive
even if this is what it is is it possible to breed him w/out it being passed on?
if i cant safely oh well
hes my little man he's not going anywhere
    thanx
