Don't worry about it, 4 weeks is not a long time. What are you feeding and how often?

Relax ;) .When a young snake is growing they really do not put out to much poo.Majority of the meal is absorbed, now you might notice a few small clumps of white stuff as this is the fur, bones ect.

I had the same experience with my girl the first few weeks .. she waited around 6 weeks -- I was sooo worried. She is quite regular now...I think it may have been a combo of she just needed time and may be a little stress or somthing.....

Now she just waits for guest to come by....I can pretty much count on that...haha.

is a three foot ball which is eating 3 prey items a week considered a young snake?

in answer to this thread's question... in the FAQ's at the top of this section... it says

    18. How often do they poop?

This will vary depending on many factors. Some BP’s will go every week or so, while other will go every 6 weeks or more. Typically, you will see a bm after a shed. Many people will worry about constipation, but this is not a big concern in BP’s.
i know my dexter only poops once every few months!

some snakes poop after eating... some don't. there is no right or wrong.

thanks i was scared he might not be getting need nutrience. but he is a little fat, has a healthy shine, and pink mouth/toung. the guy at the pet store said the color of the mouth was important but not really why. why? if at all? im still learning every day (mostly for here so thanks guys)!
