    getting cocunut fibers in mouth
julius struck at a mouse last night and missed it by half an inch and got a faceful of her 'bed a beast' cocunut bedding...

she spent the next 10 or 15 minutes opening and closing her mouth trying to get the junk out

is this okay for her? she did end up grabbing the mouse and swallowing it

It say's on the package that it isn't harmful to the snake if swallowed but I don't know. Might depend on how much injested? I'm not a herp vetinarian but I would bet that it digests it just fine. My :2cent:
I actually wanna start using the cocunut fiber substrate. My opinion the best looking of the differen't substrates.

so far it has been excellent, my bp and rtb are both on that stuff.. for $4 a brick its hard to beat the price, it is great for soilings too - easy to remove, and its great for the humidity :sweeet:

Yeah I used it before and it definetly helps with humidity. That's why I am going to switch back over to it. my younger female is showing the earlier signs of shedding. Pink Belly, EYes starting to haze, color's fading, starting to get somewhat wrinkly skin. Can't wait to see it shed.

But ya. I'm using aspen now and I just like the jungle like look of the coconut substrate. Its awesome looking.

Your BP also ingested a fur pelt and an entire skeleton of bones! :P I think a little bed-a-beast will pass through just fine.
