    Rat snake eggs and mold?
I have a brood of 13 rat snake eggs over here in my incubator, b/c my friend's female had them and she didn't have an incubator.. well, most look good (got them a few weeks ago) but two or three are getting fuzzy mold.. I didn;t candle them but like I said, most of them are still nice and white, though even some of the better ones have the mold. I will not be too upset of they weren't fertile and don't hatch, but has anyone had experience with this, and if so, please advise me!

From what I understand, that'll just happen sometimes. Just keep the moldy ones seperate from the others but keep your fingers crossed for them is what I would do! :)

I had this happen with the last corn snake eggs i had.One started to get the fuzzy stuff and i just rubbed it off the best i could.I also reduced the amount of water for the humidity. On the container you are using i would just lower the water level by half of whats their.Mold grows in areas that has excesive amounts of moisture on its surface.Keep us posted:)

I haven't raised any clutches yet, but one of the sites posted here in a diff. thread, said that mold isn't always detrimental....the author had an egg go moldy, but actually hatched a healthy baby.
So hopefully everything will be okay for the little guy! GL!
