    New home.
I made my snake a new home in a basic sterilite container with only the basics: 2 hides (one on each side) and a water dish. She isn't going to shed anytime soon, but when she's ready to should I add something extra to help her shed easier or is that necessary?

That's usually unnecessary in sterelite tub setups. What you need to do is be aware of the humidity levels. If they stay near 60% all the time, then you shouldn't have to do anything during the shed cycle. If they are typically lower, 40%-50% all the time...then you may need to mist a few days during the shed cycle.

And by misting, I just mean giving the inside of the tub a little spritz with a squirt bottle of clean water.

She's been in her new home since last night and she's still awake and moving. Is that to be expected?
