I had to post a pic of this little girl! I'm soo proud of her right now!!! She was given to me by a breeder that I bought a couple other snakes from. He pulled the uneaten mouse out of her tub and said, "I'll make you a good deal on this one!" He priced her at $10. I handed him the $10 without hesitation. Before I left, he handed the $10 back to me. She weighed 56 grams when I got her, and 68 grams empty yesterday. I've had her for right at 2 months, and have been assist feeding or tube feeding her ever since. I tube fed her yesterday afternoon. Then last night, as I was feeding my other snakes, I thought, what the heck, and tossed a live hopper mouse in with her. A few seconds later, I heard a THUMP! from her tub. Didn't think too much about it. I figured the mouse just got a little close, and she twitched and scared the mouse. But when I looked in, things got really blurry, because tears formed in my eyes! She was coiled around the mouse!!!! YES!!!!! WAY TO GO, BLAZE!!!!!

    Here she is....

Good to hear!!! :gj: Sometimes that extra TLC really pays off. I've had a few extremely emaciated rescue BPs that only ate voluntarily after a few weeks of tube feedings. It seems to kick start thier appetite, and give them the needed energy to down a solid meal. Here's to a quick grower from here on out! :carouse:
