How can I tell if my snake is underweight? I'm at a disadvantage right now because I don't have access to the type of scale to weigh her:( . It will have to be based on appearance right now...

Try and post a pic and we'd be happy to give our opinion.

Follow the caresheet and your Bp should be fine here's a link. I really can't tell he look's skinny but the pic is to blurry. Has he or she been feeding regularly?

I've had her for less than a month. Unfortunately she has not eaten for me yet.:( I have tried to feed her twice (p/k mouse fuzzies), but no luck so far. But everyone has agreed that I have had her in too lg. of an enclosure. So I am getting ready to move her to a plastic container (13 inches long, 6 inches deep and 8 inches wide).

Your Bp look's fine to me just make sure you get your husbandry right and she should be feeding in no time. When in the new enclosure allow her to settle in for a couple of day's. Who did you get her from? One more thing maybe you should try live next time.

Moving her into a smaller enclosure may help, but do you know what she was feeding on before you purchased her? Mouse fuzzies are a little small for a ball that big. Try weanling mice, or fuzzy rats. Good luck!

I got her from a local pet shop (NOT Petco). I know that usually isn't recomended, but I've known the people that own and work it and I trust them.
