Any recommendations on a digital thermometer/humidity gauge. Not looking for the absolute best. but Something more accurate than my $7 gauges.

nice, they do humidity as well? I'll pick one up if they do. Beats spending $20-$30 for one at a reptile store just for the reptile company logo.

Yep...I just picked some up at my local walmart. They do temp and humidity...and have a probe you can place on the other end of the enclosure to get a second temp if you want. They costs me $11.50 each here.

In what section of the store did you found them? Pets? Garden? I'll be going today and buy mine.

In my local walmart they were on the border of garden (not actually out in the garden section...but close) They are with all the home thermometers....they are actually called indoor/outdoor thermometers...as the probe is "meant" to be ran outside so you can see the inside and outside temp.....but they work quite nicely in a herp enclosure. If you have trouble finding them just ask an employee where to find an indoor/outdoor thermometer for your house - cause if you ask for a thermometer for a snake cage they may look at you like you're crazy!

Mine are found in the hardware department of WalMart for $11.88 each. Also remember to pick up a pack of AAA batteries (it takes one)
