    Help!!!!!!
I have a 3 month old female bp (cyrin) Ive had her for a month and shes only eaten for me one time Ive had her to the vet many times and there is nothing internally wrong but i just cant get her to eat im at me wits end shes sooo small for her age. ive been trying live-f\t pinkies and nothing tempts her i have been told with her being born so close to fall\winter (hybernating season) that she may not eat on her own until the spring. Is this true and what do I do to get her weight up until then. Please help Ive tried just about every method out there and i don't want anything to happen to her b\c im quite attached. Im new to the herp world so any advice would be great:(

(I'll move this to Husbandry forum in a second)

What kind of husbandry details could you share? What are the temps in the enclosure? What time are you trying the feeding and how long have you had her? Are live pinkies somethign you could try?

    That is an absolute lie.

A ball python less than a year old should feed like a monster for it's entire first year .... if you have it set up correctly.

99.9% of the time when a hatchling won't eat, it's a husbandry issue.

You say you've had her for only a month and have taken her to the vet "many times"? Well it could be a stress thing if she keeps getting dragged out and poked about by a vet just after arriving at her new home.

My BP didn't eat for the first week I had her but I left her completely alone apart from changing her water.

Just noticed - the temps are a little low for the warm end - try bumping up warm end to 92-94.

see thats the thing ive only taken her one time to make sure there were no internal parasites and i only handle her every other day or two for about 15 minutes the only other thing that worries me is that in the past week shes not been active at nite like she has been in the past it seems unusual to me

Please take the time to re-read the caresheet... if your temps are as low as you say...she is not eating b/c she is too cool. BP's will often go off feed if they are kept too cool.
