help w/ web browser tech question, please!
Anyone have a solution to this? When I go on ebay or another site that needs me to sign in, everytime I click to the next page it wants me to re-login, though I even click "remember me." So is this something to do w/ cookies settings, or something else? Please give me step-by-step instructions on how to fix this, because it is driving me nuts! Thanks.

Try another browser. FireFox is my browser of choice :)

Jen, you do need to have cookies enabled though. If you already do, then I couldn't tell ya. Good luck!

yeah Firefox is the ticket. Install then go to "tools" > options > then privacy to adjust settings to suit for remembering passwords etc.
I havenever had any problems with Firefox but did with Internet Explorer.
It is more secure than Internet Explorer as well.
Re: help w/ web browser tech question, please!
I agree sounds like a cookie issue or if you have allowed/blocked sites setup it might explain why if some sites work with logging in and others do not. I recommend firefox also but I don't think that is the "problem" you are experiencing
Re: help w/ web browser tech question, please!
Firefox is the poop...I loathe IE. Even the new IE 7 with the tabbed browsing doesn't compare to Firefox's tabbed browsing. There are definitely still many sites that don't show up properly in FF including some with Javascript menus (including one that I built and update regularly) but overall it does the job nicely! I agree, probably cookie related. Mmmmm cookies..

<3 Firefox, but there are still some websites that require IE (especially some secure online pay sites =P)...
I agree, sounds like a cookie issue.
Re: help w/ web browser tech question, please!
the only thing i hate about FF is for some reason it's missing a crap load of plug-ins and every time i search for a plugin to play a video it says it can't find the plugin. grrr...i have to use IE to view most videos.
Re: help w/ web browser tech question, please!
The plugins are out there...I haven't had any issues with java or embeded media players in a long time.
