Breeding weight for females
What should be a good breeding weight for a female?
Re: Breeding weight for females
I have heard around 1500 grams but is depends on how thick she is a chicker girl might be able to breed sooner than 1500. Along thin girl you migh weight till she bulks up some.

see.. if she is a chuncky 1000 grams then you might try but if she is a long 1000 then wait a year. how old is she ??

what? try a 1000 gram girl? imo, if she gave you 2,3,4 eggs she would be less than 800 grams! BIG IF! to me, that doesn't seem healthy or in the snakes best interest.
just my thoughts

I would never breed a 1000g female! lets see if she goes up to 1550-1600. If not there is no hurry.

What about one approaching 1400g and chunky?

chunky is good! if she isn't long and thin, i would try her. keep feeding her until she stops.
