    Weird Rubbing
my sister was handling her snake today, and when she was putting it away, he started rubbing his head on her knuckles.... is he starting to shed? cos he doesnt seem blue...

That's not really someone over the internet can determine. There are some behaviors that are indicitave of mites, but I've not heard of rubbing to be one of them. You can visually spot mites on your snake. Look around the eyes and vents on the head. You'll see little moving spots.

At least 1 of our BPs rub on our hands whenever we hold them. I wouldn't think this to be a sign of mites or shedding really...since none of ours have mites and none of ours should be about to shed right now.

Hey there :D Yeah I'm BJTHOMPS wife, and when I hold any of ours at some point or another they rub on me...I personally love it because it makes them seem so dog or cat like. I have figured out with atleast mine this occurs when they are trying to slither onto me when I am either putting them away and there trying to stay out, when there sliding across me while I hold them etc.

So I wouldnt worry about as long as he is healthy other wise.
