and dont believe the nasty tag they get either I have yet to meet a real nasty bad tempered one including my own and I have met a fair few, all good tempered beasts when handled with care ;)
Of course as babies they can be incredibly jumpy like many other snake species more so than some but IMO they are more docile as adults on the whole than they are painted to be.
Kayla I wll have to politley dissagree Pal on the ranking of 2nd most bad tempered snake species :colbert: I must get on my Blood Python soap box ..lol what makes you say that if you dont mind me asking ?
I have had Ball Pythons with more attitude than my bloods , I really think they get a far worse rap than they deserve. I have encountered nasty Retics , Burmese , Balls , Boa's , Rat Snakes , and GTP,s a plenty but only ever encountered 1 bad tempered Blood and that was one that was rarely handled.
So not 2nd in my book by a long shot :) but that just my opinion others may be horrified with my comments if they have had really bad experiences :D
If fellow blood owners have some horror stories to back up the bad tempered tag they have I would be interested to hear about them :) as so far in the years I have worked with snakes and bloods in particular I have yet to see this.
