    Cooking/Baking wood to make safe for our critters....
    We trimmed one of our trees a few months ago. I have a few pieces that I'd like be able to add to my snakes tanks for more decor.

    I've heard that you have to "bake/cook" it at like 450 for an hour to make sure any little bugs and junk are dead?
    Correct not correct???

    If not, please let me know what the temp and time should be....
    I did a search for it, but found nothing. :oops:
