Re: Boelen's Python? anyone got any?
No one that I know of has one. They are my dream snake, but I won't have one for awhile because they run a couple of thousand dollars.. IF you can find them. Captive bred babies are practically non-existant and they can be difficult to acclimate.

Wow, never heard of them, maybe some pic ? How different are they ?
Re: Boelen's Python? anyone got any?
Boelen's are IMO the most beautiful of morelia pythons (or any python for that matter lol) they're incredibly iridescent, quite large (12') black with yellow stripes. Their faces are quite.. wicked looking you could say. Awesome snakes.

They used one for some filler shots on Snakes On a Plane.

Re: Boelen's Python? anyone got any?
Boelen's are the holy grail of snakes to me......one day....one day ;)
Like April said.....Availability and quality is a big problem since there has yet to be a successful captive hatching of Boelens. Imported adults are expensive and hard to establish...and I have yet to stumble across any imported young boelens :(
Re: Boelen's Python? anyone got any?
http://www.globalherp.com/ often has boelens for sale.. right now they have one juvie for sale. It's currently in Europe but they can ship worldwide.
Awhile ago they had CH babies.
