New to bp's a couple of q's
1) How high does the humidity have to be? Can I use moss to keep humidity up?
2) Does he need an undertank heater? A friend of mine who has one says as long as I have a basking light and a blue heat light at night I don't need one. Is this true?
3) Also, he doesn't like to be misted. He runs and hides when I mist, is this normal?

should answer the bulk of your questions.
Using lights will leave you at a disadvantage in trying to keep humidity up. If you use an enclosure that can retain humidity well (sterilites/rubbermaids are great for this) you will never need to mist.

Can someone answer about the UTH. I want to say what I know (yes you do, why, etc.) but I'm afraid I'll be flamed if I do. Is Rabernet about?

I didn't know I could use rubbermaid containers.

An UTH is the most popular form of heating promoted on this sight. You can use lights (on a glass tank not a tub) but you will find it much much easier to control and maintain the humidity with the UTH. Hope this helped

I'm here, why? Why would you be flamed though?
IMHO, lights are not needed except in the case of supplemental heating. Ball pythons don't bask and in fact, belly heat aids in digestion.
