    I'm looking at them as well, but I have a question about the size. Would you recommend the 20" or 30"? Is a big one too big for small snakes or vice versa?

    I don't currently own one, so hopefully Adam can chime in here on his.... I've shopped for them on eBay.. but never pulled the trigger.

    I moved this thread into the "Pictures" forum....maybe it'll be more likely to get the attention of our more experienced photographers. Sorry I don't have any information to add myself.

    A light box/tent is used to diffuse light in photography, as not to get harsh shadows in a picture.

    I think that a larger (20x30) box is probably the right size. It wouldnt be too small for a big snake and a small snake wouldnt get lost in it. The light is diffused, and any extra light would just be reflected by the other side.
