overheating?

    overheating?
    i made a new hide for my snake so coincidentaly(however u spell it) i had to moce the temp probe or wutever so now its basicaly directly under the light and im gettin readings of 100, do you think it could be because the light is shining right on it?

    That is very likely, especially if it is a spot bulb. Try moving the probe around the cage and see what readings you get so that you can get an idea of the ambient temps.

    i have lvl with the grounding under the spotlight right now and its 100, if i move it to the corner that spot like isnt shining (still on warm side) is reads around 93-95 usually, if i raise it above ground about 1, 11/2 in. is reads high 80's
