First day of handling the new kid. Got so many holes in my fingers, we had to try gloves. He decided after third try gloves are not edible. Haven't named him yet. He is an early birthday gift from Kelly.:D

Feisty is'nt the word for him. When I open his enclosure he comes out after me. :O I guess his privacy is of utmost importance to him. He also doesn't like cameras. He was repeatedly striking while I trying to get that pic. It will take a lot of handling to calm him down. :sabduel: I love his color.

How big is he? Ours definitely have the taste too - the irony is the only one who really tagged me so far (SFE) is the mellowest of the lot and can otherwise be handled no problem lol.

He's about 7 weeks old and I'm thinking about 18 - 20 inches.

Beautiful carpet. Don't they have a great personality. Mine is the most fun on feeding day, lift the hide, dangle a mouse, and it's all over. Mine also seems like she's coming after me when I open the cage. At first, I was cautious when trying to grab her, but now I just reach in a pick her up. I haven't been bitten since I quit trying not to get bit.
