Does anyone know how many grams = a pound?

I'm no math genious but this calculator i found says 457.14 grams/lb

I just did it on my dig scale... it could be off since it's not top of the line and a few years old.

I think 3 grams is sorta splitting hairs especially if there are somewhere around 450 of them in one lb :P
