    frozen rat question
I'll start off by saying Gambit took his second F/T feeding with me!!! I fed him two this time because just one was too small and the next size I could find was way too big, so I gave him a medium sized and smaller sized rat pinky. Now to the question......While thawing the rats, I noticed tiny pieces of bedding (from the supplier) stuck to the rats. I tried to remove as much as I could (they were small) but, should I rinse the rats off first, or will that take some scent off? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

You can rinse them off. I actually feed all my FT rodents wet. It is just easier for me during the thawing process and the snakes don't seem to mind.

As Jamie said, you can rinse them if you wish. But it also won't hurt the snake if the rats have wee bits of bedding on them.

The bibs, my friend, are for picture taking. Except when some people are uncooperative. That one would've been a keeper. Microwaved seafood and some bib love!
