Stuck shed around head

Ok so Im sure you guys have answerd this one many time but when I tried the serch it didnt work dont know why. My baby BP got done with her shedding Tuesday but still has the head shed stuck. I know that some of you think that maybe soking or a warm towel? My question is Does this also go for the head? I mean she does not really like me touching her head. Do I do it anyways? Today I just tried some socked paper towel and wiped her head a lill bit but I dont know about covering her head with a towel and what not. Is this ok to do or what eals can I do for that area?

I'm pretty new to this whole game too, but the people i've seen have trouble with stuck sheds on the head(not just the eyecaps) used a warm/wet paper towel and pretty much held it in there hand to the point where the snake had crawl through. Not the greatest explanation...lol but if you're gentle I wouldn't imagine it's gonna hurt anything.

this is what i heard off of here i cant rember who told me though .:bolt: I like to use another method which seems to work very well. Soak a pillowcase in warm water, place the snake in the pillowcase and twist it shut, then place the wet sack in his cage for 1-2 hours. His skin will soften up and as the snake moves around in the sack it will rub most, if not all of it off. Just make sure you don't place the sack directly over a heat source or directly under a heat lamp.

My male had a bit of stuck shed on his head and around his heat pits. Even though he didn't like it all the much, I got a wash cloth and wet it with warm water and gently scrubbed his face. The shed got loose and he got most of it off himself, but I had to peel a small piece off that refused to come off.

i used a regualar wash cloth/towel and he rubbed himself to the point where most of it came off. this method worked best for me

Depending on the size of the snake, I'll use a warm, wet bath towel or hand towel. The towel is almost dripping wet. I lay the towel in my lap, and the snake on the towel, then cover the snake. Usually, they like the warm, dark, damp "hide". Let him sit there for as long as he will, 10 - 15 minutes. The retained shed will soften and loosen, and can easily be gently rubbed off. Usually, if the snake is head shy, he'll pull away at first, but, its like they figure out what you're doing and sometimes almost seem to help.

Ok got it done! I put her in the wet towel and held her in it for like 20 min. after that I used the towel to take off the stock shed she had left over. She is not very happy with me right now lol she did NOT like it at all but its all gone now. Thanks guys
