    91.0, 73.7, 89%...looks like i wont be getting my bp tomorrow either...

    im using a uth and lamp dimmer for a couple weeks till i can buy a thermostat

    Have you tried insuating the tub? Sounds like your room remps are to low for the wattage of the UTH.

    i bought a second uth and i just now found out its not reading the cool side very well... and my humidity is SOOO high

    Did you spill/splash any water on the thermometer unit? Or did you mist the enclosure? (I made that mistake when I first put my tub together...I was so used to the glass tank that I misted the tub first thing...took DAYS for the humidity to drop back to "normal"...which was way different from the glass tank.)

    no it just climbed there its self i went to bed it was at 66% and when i woke up it was at 87%...that sucks

    It's possible b/c your room is too humid. Since you don't live in a vacuum (lack of atmosphere...NOT the cleaning appliance ;) ) the relative humidity in your house could be the cause. Are you getting stormy weather or a storm FRONT in your area too?


    Try Judy's suggestion for a fan. :)
