got a pic of my setup, bought the thermo/hygro and noticed tanks a bit cold, would a stronger lamp help this?

You need another hide and a stronger heat lamp.

I wouldn't get a stronger lamp, I'd get a good UTH on a thermostat instead. A stronger lamp will just suck all the humidity right out of the tank, presenting a new challenge.

I would replace the 1/2 log hide, which looks too big for your guy to be a snug fit, with two smaller, tighter identical hides, one on the warm side, one on the cool side.

UTH means under tank heat. an example would be flexwatt, zoo-med reptitherm, etc. you can get them at any petstore, (if you're getting flexwatt you'll need to order it online) and they need to be hooked up to a thermostat to insure they dont get too got a burp the snake.

a gatorade bottle will not work. you won't be able to get the snake out if you need to, it would be too hard to clean, and its clear so it wouldnt provide little to no security.
