"Sperm Plugs"

Yea, I'm new to owning BP's (I've only had mine for a month) and I've done alot of reading on them, but I still don't completely understand.. What are "Sperm plugs"? I understand their only in males, but what exactly are they and what do they look like? (I would like to know so that I'll be able to tell if my "she" ends up being a "he"

BTW, the best way to sex your snake is to have an experienced person probe or pop them. Your vet or local breeder would probably be happy to do it for you. :)
