Noob w/ a question about handleing.
Well, I just got my beardie 3 days ago and he is the funniest thing i've ever seen but I want to know how long I should wait until I try to handle him. Right now he is in a 10 gal with some sandblasted grapevine to play on, a hide cave and he is kept on paper towels. A 100 watt basking light and a heating pad on the bottom of the tank just to give you an idea on how I have him housed. Also feel free to tell me if im doing something wrong because after all im here to learn.

You should be ok to handle him now if he is feeding fine. Just watch out....baby beardies are fearless and will leap from your hand without warning.

Your setup sounds fine for now...but I hope you have a bigger enclosure to put this guy in as he grows....and beardies grow quick too :)

Thanks. Yeah I have a few extra tanks laying around and from how small he is I think I should be good for a while. I saw him with his mouth open today and WOW he has some chompers!

I've never been bitten by mine... But he chomped straight through my Livestrong bracelet (that rubber yellow band thing). He probably thought it was mango or something -_-
