Shed Question - Going on Vacation
OK - so here's the deal. I've got five kids in full blue today. No biggie, EXCEPT that I leave for NC on Saturday. I'm "hoping" that most of them shed Friday evening.

Here's my delimma - some of you met Karl. As much as he supports my hobby by never complaining about new additions, he will NOT do anything more than check temps for me. He's scared of them, quite frankly - bless his heart!

So, two of the shed girls are new girls, and it's been my experience that new kids' first sheds aren't that great, and they both felt a bit dry when I purchased them at the show. Again - no biggie when I'm here - I can soak them the day of or the day after the shed and get the rest off.

But - just how stuck will the shed get if they have to wait until NEXT Saturday for me to get home? Or will it be no biggie?

Needless to say, cleaning is Friday night, and I've got to make sure everyone has fresh water - and of course - no one will be fed next Tuesday! ;)

Hopefully they will all cooperate with me and shed Friday night. :D

Vaughn, that would entail actually opening the tubs - I seriously doubt that's going to happen. As long as he can peek in to see the temps and has my phone number handy - he's ok with monitoring temps. Opening tubs - not so much! ;)

They'll be fine ... as long as you're back and get them cleaned up before the next time they shed.

C'mon! Going to visit family - who think I'm nuts with my snakes! LOL

Actually, the main reason for going is to see my 96 year old grandmother! I hear we're going rafting down some river Monday though! That should be fun!
