Help With Making A New Cage?
Im Planning On Making A Cage Out Of Wood With A Hinged Plexiglass Door For The Front. On The Side There Would Be Vents I Can Plug Up If I Need More Humidity. Im Not So Sure Yet What To Use For The Bottom I Know Wood Doesn't Really Transfer Heat To Well. Someone Said Use Wood But Cut A Spot Out For The Uth And Mount Some Plexiglass On It To Transfer Heat. Any Suggestions? Also I Want To Paint The Plywood Because It Will Most Likely Look Like Crap By Itself, But Is It Safe? If Not What Can I Use?

I'd use a latex for the paint, but make sure you seal it with something like a poly that will cure hard. You want to find something that will not break down from the urea or feces. I wouldn't use a bare painted surface.
