Sometimes you've just gotta wonder about folks...

I was just listening to the news on the radio while reading the forum. Here's the deal....

Some guy is caught way and I mean way over the speed limit. Just blasting along. He gets caught...fine $700.00...6 points on the ole driving license...a day in court (which will likely cost him a days wages)...plus whatever the court then assesses.

Must be a really good reason to drive so fast right. Nah. His stated reason for speeding so far over the posted limit....

He needed to get the rental back before 1 p.m. so they didn't assess him another day's rental on it.

In Pensilvania this guy was caught in a Lambourgini (or however you spell it) going 170 and he was legally drunk. He had his day in Court and they said they clocked him at 170 and he said, "I couldn't have, the old girl starts shaking at 130!" :P

One for the Darwin Awards.......

He'smust have been a good driver to be able to keep a car steady at 170 while drunk.

Yeah it was a trip...lemme tell ya...i do it all the time :headbang:

there's no pride in drunk driving nate. my best friend doesn't have his son anymore because of one.

I just re-read my smart@$$ comment and realized it made me sound like i drive fast while drunk....sorry..i do not drive drunk...never have.
