Thanks!
$20 for the Acu-Rite? Did you try Wal-Mart? They are about $12 there.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
I saw an acurite at Fred Meyer for $12.99, but it was just a thermometer without the humidity guage. I've seen the humidity (model 00891) at some online places for $12.99, but most of the time it's listed at $24.95+.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
I find my Acu-rites at WalMart for anywhere between $10-$12. Indoor/Outdoor/Humidty.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
Well, it looks like I'll be taking a trip to Wal-Mart. Thanks!

They should be in the hardware section near the light bulbs.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
Thanks. I also noticed that the nearest Lowes has them as well for around $12.97. Not a bad deal. Perhaps I'll take a drive this afternoon . . .
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
Yup Lowes and Wal-Mart were the cheapest place for them, I searched around recently for them and those were the two best.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
Here's the frustrating thing: I have to run up to an appointment this afternoon, with no Wal-Mart on the way. There is a Lowes right on the way, but according to the web site it's the only one in the region that doesn't have the stupid thing in stock.
Re: Acu-Rite vs. Springfield
I'd phone and check on that, online stock info isn't always all that current or correct. Oh and don't forget that AAA battery! :)
