    Quick Flexwatt question..
If I get a piece of flexwatt, prewired, and it's a little too long...can I trim it? And if so, do I need any special tools to do so? I mean, I don't want to set into a strip of flexwatt with a pair of plain ol' kitchen scissors and damage the flexwatt--or myself!

Of course. Just cut with kitchen scissors between the heating elements and be sure to insulate the ends of the conductors with elec. tape to prevent shock.
