How can I get a license for my snake?
I live in NYC, the land of forbidden snakes :) However, I read the exotic law and it says you can apply for a permit/license as an educator (I'm a teacher). But it gives no instructions on who to contact, how to go about it, etc. Anyone know?

    Thanks!

Most likely the Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries (or whatever it is called in your local) for your state....that would be where I start ;)

If not try contacting the NYC Herpetological Society they might also know who you have to contact.

    New York, NY 10032-2907
    (212) 740-3580

Edit: I like how the pets get names but the Husband doesn't LoL :groinkick

Hee hee--- I didn't notice that!

Thanks for the info about the NYHS---however, the number is WRONG! I found the same number listed on another website too. Does anyone know the real phone number for them?
