Black/brown around mouth

Hi everybody,

As you can see I'm new to this forum! I Had a question about my baby bp. I just noticed some blackinsh brown dried stuff on his mouth. I wiped it and it eventually came off. Have any of you ever seen anything similar to this on your snake? Should I be worried? Thanks a lot guys and girls!

I've never seen that in my bp. Did it eat recently? Could it be some dried blood from a rodent?

yes, it ate yesterday! I was thinking it was dried blood, but you cant be too sure!! Thanks

I would think it was dried blood from the prey; was it live or thawed? Even sometimes, the f/thawed prey will bleed.. yuckie! ;)
