Give it a week to settle in.....then you should be fine. When I had my two, I was holding them the first couple of days.....as long as they are feeding well.....no worries.

From one Daniel to the next I totally agree my brethren.
When I got my first Beardie like almost a decade ago, He was handled days after I received him. He was actually a rescue from PETCO but I don't want to go there right now. Sore subject. But anyway they are a lot more handleable than your Blood or BP. Just my :2cent:

thanks for the replies. I hate to say this but I purchased my beardie from PETCO for $60. At Mr. Petman they wanted $70. And out of both places the cage at PETCO seemed to have this baby with tiger stripes and red going down both sides of its belly. Im hoping it is at least containing the tiger stripe trait. Im not sure about the red. I want to breed the tiger trait with a lemon citrus beardie. Just like the one you have tybalt. So then all should be good. It seems to attemp to be catching crickets. I haven't actually seen him/her eat but I have been adding crickets to keep at least 8 in there.
