Im Worried... about Kali!
Since I bought my blood last sunday... and put her in her tub. She has not come out of her hide.... not once! Everyday I leave and come home she has been in the same spot as the day before! The guy I bought her from (from strictly reptiles) said bloods where great eaters and rarely gave problem so I attempted to feed her when I got home sunday (live food). I neglected to ask how old she was... i attempted to feed her a hopper! Maybe she needs a pinkie? Anyway I tried to feed her again yesterday (with another hopper) and she refused ( I KNOW doing this is very dumb of me!). But why won't she move? she has had minimal stress she should eat!!!! GRRR this is driving me crazy...
:(
Re: Im Worried... about Kali!
its not even been a week since you got her, just leave her ALONE. No feeding or anything, let her get used to her new enclosure. How do you know that between the time you leave and the time you come home that she hasnt moved?
Re: Im Worried... about Kali!
because her position is exactly the same!
Re: Im Worried... about Kali!
you just need to relax, they dont move much. They are not like other animals that move around much. Like I said you havnt even had her a week yet, give her more time before you start pulling your hair out worrying, shes got to adjust without anyone messing with her. No feeding, handleing, etc... You should pretty much only spot clean and change the water during this adjustment time.
Re: Im Worried... about Kali!
Ok will do! So if I bought her sunday... what day should I attempt to feed her again?

Hmmm...even though you bought her on Sunday...she's been messed with and stressed out since then. I would give her a full week (at least!) of not being messed with at all...so start counting from the last time you were trying to feed her or handler her or whatever.
