Yes and if you do not i suggest you to not try it or you could hurt your snake.Where are you located? Try to find a reptile vet in your area that can check your snake either by probing or the poping methods.Or look to see if you have a local herp club,maybe they could find out the sex for you.Please make sure the person does really know what they are doing before you let them check your snake;) .
