    best kind of enclosure for a RTB?
    what are the best housing arrangements for a red tailed boa? is a tupperware like tub okay for them? like the way some people keep ball pythons?

    A plastic cage is the best for them. Either that or a custom made cage. Check boaphile.com

    Tubs are Ok for a certain amount of time but IMO even the largest tubs(52" x 21" I think) aren't big enough for a 7-8' 30 lb+ boa.

    If you are able I suggest custom building your own. I am using a 6' X 4' X 3 1/2' cage I built for an Argus monitor. You can build it to your exact specifications to maintain proper humidity and heat levels.
