how many watts should a baskinglight be?
I have 2 BP's and i only have a night light for them... what wattage should i get for a basking light? Also i want to buy a humidifier but on the site i went to it said it doesn't come with a pump, would it just need a regular air pump that you would use for a fishtank?

    seperate the BP's.

to figure out what wattage you need you just need to experiment with it.

What size enclosure are you keeping them in. BTW, seperate them ASAP. I can probably help you narrow down the wattage that you need if I know what enclosure you have. As for the humidifier pump, I do not think that it is compatible with the air pump used for fishtank setups.

Why not get a tub? Tubs are way better to keep snakes in than terraruiums.

I would recommend scratching the lamp, and just going with your UTH. If more heat is needed, I would work on heating the room around the cage; this is what I do.
They do need to be seperated, as the others mentioned; it is a good indication though, that you want to buy another cage; but 100g is way too big for even the largest BP!
To save money, your best option would be to go with rubbermaid or sterilite containers; MUCH lighter, cheaper than tanks. But if you insist, satisfactory BP keeping can be done using tanks; I use them for all of mine, but there could be a whole book written on the extra requirements of doing so. (for one, humidity needs to be retained during shed times with plastic wrap over most of the lid.. they are heavy to lift when cleaning/hosing out is needed, etc.)

i have a 75 watt basking light over the hot side of my tank. its reading 102 degrees farenheit. although i think this is too hot... my bp seems to like it. possibly because the thermometer is a conductor perhaps?

The basking light is too hot. Snakes really can't tell the difference between 90 and 100, but that can burn your snake.
